in the last weekI love this place! Membership is reasonable and there’s enough activity here for all seasons. My recent visit was on a spitty April day and of course taking photographs was amazing and everything spring is blooming. The gift shop has a wide variety for its size. We did the 1 o’clock tour on Saturday and our tour guide was so knowledgeable. The grounds are beautiful. So grateful for this place in the middle of the city.

2 weeks agoMorris Arboretum is such a beautiful place no matter what time of the year you go. There are many different sections to see and they have maps available so you can find everything. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom and there are lots of labeled pathways to get around. There are alot of benches available to stop and enjoy the scenery. Very peaceful place to go. It's $20 online to pay and $22 at the gate #floral #garden #flowers #plants #arboretum

a month agoMe & a few sisters from my church visited on a Sunday afternoon. It was no wait to get it. We got the tickets through access Philly so they were only $2 a piece. We came in separate cars, but one car had all the tickets. They let us give their names & when they came, they let them in with no problems. The tours online aren’t correct or wasn’t correct when we checked them. We planned for a 2:00 tour, but when we got there they told us the tour started at 1:00. We decided to stay & just walk around on our own. There were like maybe 2 or 3 flowers. We get it is the beginning of spring so we didn’t expect to see much. It was still very nice to be there & it still smelt like flowers although there weren’t any. We went into the gift shop to ask a few questions. The lady there was very kind & their snacks were reasonably priced. There was plenty of free parking. We read online that they had a seating area, so we packed light lunches. When we got to the seating area, the tables were stacked together & there were no chairs. Idk why it was closed or for how long it will be closed, but currently it is unavailable. We plan to come back later in the spring to experience the beauty of it all.

4 months agoWhat a delightful afternoon was spent walking around. Plenty to see and we went in winter. In summer I expect it is spectacular. $20 fee to get in, goes to the conservation of the grounds I believe. Parking is easy. Maps available, basically a loop with a few features off the loop. Gift shop and educational buildings. School children and university students were there. Staff very helpful.

6 months agoLove this place. So much to explore. Grounds are beautifully manicured and landscaped. Calming and peaceful experience to be had by all. Visited during the mid-Fall season to see the incredibly famous Pumpkin Cottage... a sight to behold! Fantastic photo shoot opportunities throughout the entire location. Wish there were more sculptures in the gardens, I had anticipated similarities to Grounds for Sculpture. Will plan to be back for the train exhibit that was closed when we went due to it being transformed into a winter wonderland. Highly recommended that you visit... with or without the kids. Don't forget to bring comfortable walking shoes, water to stay hydrated and maybe a chair or blanket with a great novel to enjoy amongst miraculous landscapes. Also be sure to visit the Fernery, that was especially impressive.
