"Each month my friends and I pick a new spot to hike/walk in the city & this one was fantastic. I love when you’re in the city but it doesn’t look or feel like it because of the lack of cars & noise. The scenery was green and fresh with some nice scents of eucalyptus. The views from the top are sensational. A great spot to picnic if you carry up your food in a backpack. The cross seems larger than life when you get close to it. Be sure to read the history of this park."

"I had a great hike there the place is so beautiful and had great view. I’m glad I found someone who know the road to help me find the top of the hill. I wish they will put some sign so people knew where to go, but I guess the city don’t do anything about it because they don’t charge people , but it really is a simple thing to do. In general go there and enjoy the hike. It’s a beautiful place."

"There are several different trailheads to Mount Davidson. The trails on the north (like this one) are narrower, steeper, and sometimes more muddy, but they do give you a more wilderness experience. Views from the top of the hill are spectacular, perhaps even better than the much more crowded (and lower elevation) Twin Peaks."
