"Mount Trashmore Park is hands-down one of the coolest spots in Virginia Beach! The new downhill playground is an absolute hit — my kids couldn’t get enough of the hillside slides and climbing nets. It’s such a fun and creative use of the landscape, and it really adds a fresh layer of excitement to the park. What’s also great is how the park brings together all kinds of enthusiasts. On any given day, you’ll see skateboarders ripping it up at the skate park (the vert ramp is legit), RC car drivers racing around the open areas, and even drone flyers taking advantage of the wide open sky. "My husband and I went here during the early Spring where the hill grasses were still dry but we could see people playing kites, having picnics, exercising, which was life of the place. Two of the best thing you'll get is many parking space (free) and feeling refreshed after spending time at the park!"
