We had a nerf party at Mpact for my son's eighth birthday. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations. Having attended several birthday parties at Mpact over the past few years, I was confident in my decision to host my son's celebration there, especially given the positive feedback from friends who had previously organized events at the facility. I appreciated the proactive communication we received a week prior, outlining the setup time and what to bring. However, upon my arrival, I was escorted to "Viewing Room 1," which contained two plastic folding tables and an assortment of mismatched chairs, many of which were not even positioned appropriately. I assumed we would be moving to the main event room after the previous group cleared out. To my disappointment, I was informed that we would remain in the secondary room, which was not equipped as a party space. This room lacked kitchen facilities, was unkempt, and had broken screens along with marks on the walls. When I inquired about the change, I was told that the front room would not be available, and we would be having our party in the “other party room” (which may also be the room or adjacent room where when I came for open play years ago we left our shoes on the table). As an event planner with a decade of experience, I expected clear communication regarding any changes to our designated event space. I would have appreciated the opportunity to adjust our plans, such as bringing additional decorations. When I approached the staff member to tell her I found our situation unacceptable, she simply stated that she would forward my concerns to management. There was no apology or effort to rectify the situation. Her demeanor suggested that my inquiries were an inconvenience. For the last hour during our party time, the front room was also left unoccupied, furthering my frustration as I have no idea why we couldn’t have used it. Following our gathering, I also consulted with a number of my friends, and none of them had attended or hosted a party in any room other than the designated party room. Despite these challenges, we made the best of the situation, and my son enjoyed his party. However, I find it unacceptable to advertise a "party room" as part of a birthday package, while providing a considerably inferior space instead. If I were in a similar position, I would make every effort to ensure customer satisfaction. Regrettably, the staff member's attitude conveyed a lack of concern for our experience and frankly, dripped with disdain. On a positive note, our host, Grace, was friendly and enthusiastic; however, the overall experience felt subpar due to the circumstances. If a lesser quality room is to be used for events, I believe a price adjustment should be available or in the least VERY clear up-front communication about the discrepancies between “party rooms”. I did attempt to contact two separate employees about this situation in lieu of leaving a review but no one bothered to reply unfortunately. Would not have another event here to say the least.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Had an 11 year old birthday for my son. Eric did a great job leading the boys. Everyone was super friendly. Well done!

This place has changed our kids lives! I am in awe of their growth in self confidence, discipline, and work ethic. They have made so many new friends participating in martial arts and attending Nerf wars and parents night out. The owners are amazing and made us feel right at home from day one. Coach Eric is absolutely amazing with children. He is firm and demands respect while simultaneously being incredibly patient and kind. Our kids would come every single day if they could. I just wish I would have found this place sooner. You cannot go wrong by bringing your kids here.

Came here for a birthday nerf battle party. My son had so much fun. This was a great experience and we would recommend this for anyone else looking for a fun party.

Mpact is amazing. Eric and DeeAnn truly love people and care about all the kids and families they serve. Our boys did taekwondo for years when they were younger (they're now 13 and 14) and it was a great experience...both fun and formative for them. We just brought our business team to the gym yesterday to do nerf wars which is always a blast. We hadn't been to the gym in years and it was great to see Eric and DeeAnn. I can't recommend their business highly enough.
