"We really enjoyed driving through and seeing and experiencing so many animals. We went on a Monday morning just before spring break and for most of our drive, we were the only car which was great. We had several 'car visitors' which gave us many laughs. Fun time and Great memories!! The park is large, spacious, and well cared for. The roads are in nice condition also.Maybe a little pricey, but we thought it was worth it. It would be nice if the $5 bag of food was included with admission. After all, we are feeding your animals and they were happy to get it."

"The sanctuary is well maintained in general,. But if you ask me, I'd rate the experience and closer encounters we had with animals like Zebras, Giraffes, etc. @ Fossil Rim, Glenrose higher. Even the Cheetah and Rhino habitats there seemed nicer to me in general. The advantage here though is there's a natural cave formation right next to this,. So if you're taking folks around Austin/San Antonio, planning to do these 2 things together may be a full day well sepnt."
