Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County

Kids and adults can spend many hours here for not a lot. The site offers discounts and other offers on their websites if you buy a ticket in advance. Lots of things to see and read. At the end you can stroll the garden. It really is a great way to spend the day with your kids.

Went as a birthday treat with daughter, who had never been. It's been redesigned since my last visit. Well organized, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out. We were both impressed. Their dinosaur collection is fantastic, as is the art collection between the rooms. I enjoyed it better than the Natural History Museum in London. The special exhibit on how they curate displays was explained well and had good accompanying graphics. I would go again. Absolutely worth the money.

Absolutely fantastic museum - it’s huge and brilliant fun for all ages! Love the sheer amount of displays and learning exhibitions and displays there are! Perhaps one of the best museums I’ve ever been to! Highly recommend! Loved seeing the live animals and insects too!

A splendid museum with a modern sensibility. The tone of the narrative voice is pitch perfect: not condescending, not obtuse. Many fascinating exhibits. And if you're a dinosaur fan, you've come to the right place.

Overall amazing place to visit mostly came for the dinosaurs but seeing the history of LA etc was nice. Come for if say 2-3hrs to get the full experience also come early if you want parking had to park a bit far away. Also buy tickets in advanced students get $4 off.
