"This museum is a must visit for anyone in the Norfolk area. The museum portion has hands-on exhibits for almost everything nautical and amazing history lessons about the whole Chesapeake Bay area. This includes not only the navy, but the civilian shipping as well. It is pretty incredible The tour of the Battleship Wisconsin was a sobering look at how our Navy lived and fought at sea over 5 decades! The ship is an awe-inspiring monument to what it takes to protect our freedom and the sacrifices our armed forces make every day. A salute and thank you to you all."

"Nice clean place. The second and third floors had a lot of inactive stuff that both kids and adults could experience. I'm not sure what % of the boat is open to explore, but it was enough to get lost a few times trying to find a friend."

"Went there for Winterfest but have been before during the day. The exhibits in the main building are interesting for all ages and the ship never fails to amaze in the dark or the light. If anyone has any balance issues, going down inside the ship is probably not advisable, but walking on deck and talking with those who can answer questions and give more information on it makes the visit even more interesting. Also, love the gift shop inside the main building as well."
