4 months agoThis is what modern theaters need to aim for. Bright, colorful interior with large hi-res preview screens all over the lobby. The popcorn is fresh popped, self-serve with free refills! For drinks, they have Coke Freestyle machines and a bar for the adults. The seats in the auditoriums are nice, comfortable recliners and even have personal tables on a swivel. The pictures are crystal clear hi-def and complete surround sound. They even have a special $6 Tuesday price. The staff are friendly, cheerful and helpful. They keep the place very tidy with constant ongoing cleaning. I'm very happy that NCG took over this theater when Regal pulled out. I hope everyone gets back out and starts going to movies again!

2 weeks agoFirst off, I was greeted by this very kind girl named Sophie! She answered all my questions and made me laugh. I went to watch the Minecraft movie, I was briefed by Sophie about all the craziness that had been going on in the theaters for the past 2 weeks and was told a set of rules were in place to make sure none of that was to happen again. That was very encouraging after reading all these rude reviews about the theater even when it’s not their fault for the way young kids act. Customer service was amazing and I got all my concessions for half the price I would’ve got at AMC. Anyway, the popcorn was amazing, and the theater was a perfect temperature. On my way out I was told “Goodbye, have a wonderful night!” again by Sophie. Theater was very clean and I will be returning!

2 months agoDisappointing Experience at NCG Theater I recently took my family to NCG Theater for a movie night, spending nearly $70 on tickets and concessions. Unfortunately, what should have been a fun and relaxing evening turned into a deeply uncomfortable experience. After purchasing popcorn at the concession stand, I brought empty plastic bowls so my children could share without making a mess. To my surprise, multiple staff members aggressively confronted us, visibly upset over the use of our own bowls. The situation quickly escalated as a group of employees surrounded my wife, two children, and me, making us feel uneasy and embarrassed in front of other patrons. Ultimately, we were escorted out of the theater—not for breaking any clear rules, but for simply trying to share the popcorn we bought at the theater in a more family-friendly way. I understand if there are policies regarding outside containers, but the approach taken by the staff was disproportionate and unprofessional. A polite conversation would have been more than sufficient. Instead, our family night out turned into a stressful ordeal. I hope NCG Theater management addresses this issue and provides better training for their staff to handle situations with empathy and respect. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this theater to families looking for a welcoming and enjoyable outing. Thankfully there is an AMC theater very close with much more welcoming staff.

a year agoWOW! New school movie expected! A+ Visited early Sat and was very impressed. 2nd day open and was blown away how nice this spot is now. Full remodel. Self serve type popcorn, drinks, etc. You pay for items at the ticket counter out front before going inside. Trust me it’s nice. Prices for concessions were reasonable. Sure it’s not cheap but we thought it would be more. Nachos were around $6.50 w/ cheese. 🗒️: if you purchase tickets online or via the app we were told you still have to wait in the ticket counter line. I’m wondering if that will ever change knowing Fri/Sat nights can get busy. Wow the seats were super comfortable. Loved they have a stand to put your drink on. They seemed new! They recline so nicely. A++ Bathrooms were super clean. We kind of missed the old-school movie experience, but we understand changes have to be made to keep up with the times hence this newer type experience. Give it a try and leave a rating to help others.

a week agoI’ve lived in the area for almost 10 years and this was my first time going to the mall theatre because I had a membership elsewhere but did not renew. This theatre is pretty awesome! Clean and nicely renovated. The theatre rooms remind me a lot of MJR in Michigan which is my favorite theatre in the Midwest. This is my new go to theatre in the area.
