a week agoHad such a lovely experience at the Portland Next Adventure store. Mia spent time with us, and helped me choose skis and helped my friend find the perfect boot fit. She was patient, knowledgeable and seemed more concerned about matching us with the right gear, than making a sale. Really appreciated her assistance. Will come back again!

3 months agoNext Adventure staff was very helpful getting setup with a new board after having an issue on the first order. They took great care of us in the store and I purchased new bindings and a helmet and beanie for my son as well. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and they have a great selection of gear for the kids. Will definitely be back to get my son setup with bindings, boots and a board as soon as he grows out of his Riglet.

4 weeks agoStrong 0 out of 10. I bought XC skis. It’s been 15 years since I bought some to I talked to the salesman for 1 hour trying to find a good pair. I went to the bathroom, and heard him talking bad about me and how long he had to help me. I took my skis and dropped off for bindings to be put on. That evening, I researched and they didn’t have the best rating. I called multiple times the next morning- no answer, every call went to VM and the VM was full.i tried to stop them from putting on the bindings. I was driving up from Salem and trying to shop local so it was a big investment in my time. I came up the next weekend and they said they would not take them back as they now had bindings. They said I could sell them back to them for 1/3 the price and it would be store credit. Overall- pretty negative experience with very poor customer service. Will be going to REI now.

a month agoThe customer service when picking out stuff, top notch. My experience this time outweighed that positive. I would avoid in-store pickup. I bet shipping it to you would still be faster. I didnt have access to the order because it was ordered through a friend's account. The guy behind the counter asked about 4 questions before he even thought of checking the status. It's like, I'm here, check your system because I have no idea what's happening with YOUR system. Ended up having him cancel my order and I fulfilled it myself in the store. I think the guy behind the counter should give out parking tickets, he seems more qualified with his approach to customer service. My suggestion, put where your inventory is on your website so your customers don't run into this again.

2 months agoAlejandro helped me fit into a new pair of snowboard boots. Literally the best customer service experience I’ve ever had. 5 golden stars, 10/10, S-tier, outstanding, A-plus. He helped me pick the right boot based off my own foot anatomy with different options and price points. Super knowledgeable staff. This is the place to go if you need new gear.
