Best local fishing spots in virginia beach and chesapeake .Great sight seeing. Lots of wild life. Everthing from predatory birds to snakes and turtles and sighting of wild pigs. Good boat launches all the way down the river. Cool parks for the kids along the way.

Nice facilities along the river. Love the new public ramp at old Pungo Ferry Rd. Fishing is very good and getting back in the small creeks the scenery is beautiful.

Not a bad ramp, but some may find the porta potty undesirable. Generally decent parking, bass fishing here is slow
