Insider tips

  • Utilize the one FREE trial class to observe class sizes and teaching styles to ensure it aligns with your child's needs for hands-on instruction.
  • Inquire specifically about the teacher-to-student ratio for your child's age group if individualized attention is a high priority for progress.
  • If participating in fundraisers, carefully track contributions and earned rewards, and proactively clarify any discrepancies to avoid issues reported by other parents.
  • Consider this gym if you are looking for a fun, laid-back atmosphere with flexible options and value pricing for extracurricular activities.

Good to know before you go

  • If your child requires consistent, high-level hands-on, individualized instruction to make progress in gymnastics.
  • If you have low tolerance for administrative errors or expect guaranteed resolution for financial/fundraiser discrepancies, as one review highlights a significant unresolved issue.
  • If your child becomes easily overwhelmed in potentially crowded class settings where direct teacher attention might be limited.
  • Reports of insufficient teacher-to-student ratio in classes, leading to less hands-on instruction.
  • Some children have made "hardly any progress" over two years due to a lack of individualized, hands-on teaching.
Crowds
Implied to be potentially crowded during classes, as one review noted, "Not enough teachers for the amount of kids in class."
Value
Offers "SUPER REASONABLE" pricing, enhancing its value proposition. A "sibling discount" is available, further increasing affordability for families with multiple children. The "one FREE trial class" provides excellent value for trying out the services. However, there was a negative report of a fundraiser where children were denied earned trophies due to an alleged financial discrepancy that was not rectified, indicating potential issues with transparent financial practices or customer service regarding additional costs/rewards.
Accessibility
No specific accommodations for special needs were mentioned in the reviews.
Safety
Staff are described as "professional (clean & safe)", suggesting a focus on maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.

"My family has been frequenting Olympia since we moved to Cumberland for Peewee, Preschool, and ninja classes along with camp every summer and 2 birthday parties (so far). All the coaches are amazing. Patient with the kids, instructive, and friendly to everyone. The staff is helpful and makes sure everyone gets what they need. Any parents looking for extracurriculars for little kids should be signing up asap"

"Not enough teachers for the amount of kids in class. They get shown how to do something once And then they are left to fend for themselves while going from task to task. My daughter has been coming here for about 2 years and has hardly made progress because she never gets much hands on instruction."

"My children have been attending classes here for a couple years. Recently my children participated and the gym's yearly fundraiser, where they each raised $131, enough money for a large trophy. Barbara, the front desk lady claims each child was short $10 but did not bring this discrepancy to my attention and did not give my kids the trophies they earned. When I addressed the issue, she said sorry and will not rectify the situation. Very unprofessional business and I will not be going back."
