3 years agoAmazing people and events and support! Kathryn and Tisha were up at Bike MS:Deception Pass Classic 2021 and helped me immensely with adjustments with bike I borrowed and used for the Victory 'I Ride with MS' Lap and the 22 mile route that I rode along with helping me get back to the finish line after getting over to their tent after I did the ride. I have worked with them several times and they have always been outstanding but this was the first time outside of an event not coordinated with the Swedish hospital MS Center. They are an amazing foundation. Kathryn, I worked with more closely for this event and she was amazing to work with from start to finish!

a year agoI was a part of this program. They offer great activities and was a memorable experience. The one downside though is that they aren't always available. I asked them if they wanted to be on my podcast, but they always say that they are "busy" which to me is an excuse to not speak to the media. I'm a journalist through and through.

a year agoExcellent place for adaptive bikes and information. A person is able to rent a bike for the day (2023 summer is free) for a reasonable amount.

6 years ago19 years after my SCI/TBI, I have been able to ride a bike again. This organization has the equipment and expertise that enables people like me to do most of the outdoor activities for which this region is famous. I'm starting with cycling, hoping to do the STP, but kayaking and skiing is on my to do list. Through these people, I can try a wide variety of adaptive equipment and find what works for me before I buy stuff. With a basic handcycle running $1600, and my needs for highly modified equipment, this is my only viable way to regain this aspect of my active life.

3 years agoBy using different equipment they have available, I was eventually able to teach my son to ride a standard bike. I probably could not have done it otherwise.
