Overton Park

The zoo was a quiet and spacious place, but there weren’t many animals to see. It’s good for a one-day sightseeing trip, though the limited food options might be a drawback. Unfortunately, during our visit, we couldn’t see animals like gorillas, monkeys, and others due to maintenance work.

A peaceful oasis. Beautiful trees and grounds in the middle of an urban area. I enjoyed a lovely walk there and also looked through Veterans Plaza which is really well done.

This is a great dog park for socializing you and your dog. I have met many very nice people here. They have separate enclosed areas for small/large dogs, a pond, playground, and public bathrooms. Plus extensive trails to walk or run and a golf course. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a fun place to take your family.

Overton park is a beautiful park to spend a quite evening in the middle of the usual city hustle and bustle. This park has lots and lots of things to offer from play parks for kids to dog parks for the furry friends to museums, zoos, aquariums etc for everyone. The park offers lots of amenities like ebikes. It has a nice lake in the middle. The trails are beautiful. The newest addition of mechanical dinosaurs in the zoo are a hit among the kids. Overall a good place to spend some time with family.

Beautifully landscaped. Great place to visit anytime. If you enjoy early morning walks, jogging through the trails, or watching the kids play, this is the place for you. Don't forget there is easy access to the zoo, museum and a golf course.
