9 months agoThis SUMMER was my daughter’s first year attending summer camp. Mrs. Poole the director and the staff are nice and assured me that my daughter would be fine. My daughter had something to talk about every day. They also provided enrichment activities to prepare my child for the 1st grade. My daughter enjoyed reading in her class. The activities she loved is when they topped and baked their own pizza, the field trips, and the end of summer Hawaiian themed party. “They had a chocolate fountain also…..”, in my child voice. My daughter enjoyed Oxford Preps summer camp. It was such a memorable experience and she can’t wait for next summer. Until next summer Thank you Oxford Prep for a fantastic summer. They also sent home a folder of all the summer work.

10 months agoMy Daughter and son were registered in this camp, they are no friendly and the manager of the camp is disrespectful. We walk in on the first day of her knowing my child has autism. As an Autistic child she was trying to explore and see the new place! They wanted the autistic child to behave like a “normal” kid and stand right in line! The manager was rude and yelled at us to come outside of the gym, she said if your daughter is going to be like this we can’t have her in the camp. She handled situation with the utter most disrespect, she told me she would refund me the money by the end of the day and it has been a week and nothing was refunded. They have zero customer service and she does not know how to say sorry! I said nothing to her the whole time and was trying to figure out how to assist my daughter. I left w/out saying anything.

a year agoMy daughter attended the summer camp this year (2023). From registration through the final day, the staff was friendly and informative. Well organized and my daughter loved it. While working I felt satisfied knowing she was somewhere safe, secure, being productive, and having a fun time. Will definitely be back next summer. Blessings to the director and all the camp workers.

a year agoExcellent place for holistic care and learning. My daughter was one of the littlest ones and I could tell she gained so much confidence after attending this camp. All of the staff and counselors treat the kids as one of their own. Everyday when I picked up my daughter, the kids were engaged and playing. They treated each other with respect and I could tell that they were following the example presented to them. The last day, for the end of the summer party (glow party!), the kids were having so much fun they were crying when the parents came to drag them away. If I hadn't been sick, I would have joined. Also, the director uses all Arlington businesses so if you live in or around Arlington, it's a great way to support the community. I wish I could give 6 stars. This place was an answer to prayers.

9 months agoI wish there was a zero star option for this place but since there isn't I had to press the one star option. The staff at the summer program DO NOT watch out for your children's safety, and I recommend you never let your child leave the campus for field trips because based on the video I seen on Instagram these people shouldn't be trusted . The video I seen brings up so many safety concerns for these children and they need to be looked into, mind you I have a child who goes here and for now on my child will NEVER attend there ever again. There is nothing prepatory about this place, and the staff is actually classless/careless and obviously by the look of the video they lack empathy and responsibility....I'm ashamed of them for the lack of professionalism and I'm ashamed of myself for putting my daughter in a unsafe environment...please protect the children at all cost a shut this program down.
