Paddle Share Station

This is so cool to have this paddle share station as an amenity in the park.

Great time out using the Paddle Share! We did the 8.5 mile trip. Process to get kayaks was easy and smooth.

This is a great way to see the Mississippi and it’s a good value for the price. We did the Nature route, which was 7.5 miles, which was enough. There is a current but you do need to paddle. The river gets quite shallow in several places. Pro tip: you definitely need two fairly fit people to get the kayaks out of the lockers and carry them down to the river to launch and then upon return, you also need two people to carry the kayaks up a hill to the lockers. The higher locker numbers are lower which will save you from having to load them into lockers well above your head.
