a month agoOur visit to the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo was an absolutely fabulous experience for the whole family, but especially for the kids! There was so much to see and do—from getting up close with animals to exploring the interactive exhibits. The highlight for my daughter and her friend was feeding the flamingos, which was such a unique and exciting experience. They also had a blast climbing through the interactive treehouse, discovering animals, and engaging with all the hands-on exhibits. After all the fun inside, the playground next door was the perfect way to end the day. It gave the kids even more space to run, climb, and enjoy time together. This place is such a hidden gem—perfect for young explorers and families looking for a mix of education and adventure. We hope to come back when we get the chance to visit on vacation again!

a month agoSmall but extremely well made. Thoughtfully curated. Everything has purpose. I’ve been to bigger zoos and never been touched by angels (pics included). 10/10 also awesome playground next door and plenty of parking.

a month agoIt was fun day at the Zoo.. pretty cool. They have some science stuff and then live animals. Would highly recommend coming here on a weekday. If coming on weekends then buy tickets online.

2 weeks agoA Roaring Good Time at the Palo Alto Zoo and Museum! Our recent visit to the Palo Alto Zoo and Museum was an absolute blast! From the moment we arrived, there was a palpable sense of fun and discovery that kept both the adults and the kids thoroughly engaged. The zoo itself is a charming size, perfect for little legs to navigate without feeling overwhelmed. The highlight for everyone was undoubtedly the treehouse, which sparked so much imaginative play. Getting up close to the vibrant flamingos and even having the chance to participate in feeding them was a truly memorable and unique experience – the kids are still talking about it! Moving on to the museum, the engaging exhibits kept the learning alive in a hands-on way. While the entire museum was well-received, the dinosaur garden was a clear winner for at least one of our little explorers! Seeing the impressive dinosaur replicas brought history to life in a thrilling way. Overall, the Palo Alto Zoo and Museum offers a wonderful blend of wildlife encounters and educational exploration. It's a fantastic destination for families looking for a fun and enriching day out. We left with smiles on our faces and a collection of happy memories. We'll definitely be back!
