a year agoVery fun hiking trail. You can take Soapstone trail down over the stream and through the tunnel and you will see the Grist Mill trail to your right. Walk along that paved trail to the Cascade trail where you will find the swinging bridge. You will come along 2 bathroom houses along the way where you can stop to fill up your water bottle or use it for a potty break. I took this route down to bridge and back and had a great time.

a year agoParking fits around 20 cars along the line by the freeway. The trail itself is fairly easy but can get muddy after some rain. No fee to enter here and it's dog friendly. Some parts can get cramped and awkward with people passing as you'll find yourself aside by the bushes to let them walk by but as narrow as the trail is the view alongside it is full of trees and tiny Easter eggs past hikers left behind.

a year agoLoved this trail and can’t wait to go back. It turns out that parts of the Soapstone trail are no longer accessible, you’ll find the old path is blocked off. Apparently it’s private property now. However, the trail has been re-routed so, it shouldn’t cause any problems. We passed several friendly people walking their dogs.

a year agoMore beautiful than I thought. Many tables and grill are in the area along with the creek. Has playground and restrooms, soapstone trail is right next to the restroom.
