Patterson Park

Visiting this place was akin to stepping back in time. Whether you call it uptown or downtown, the city felt as though it hadn't invested in any real improvements to enhance its charm. One would expect that officials would at least make an effort to attract visitors, as a more appealing environment could boost revenue. However, my experience suggested a notable lack of concern for aesthetics in the areas I explored. After strolling through the city for a few hours, I found myself ready to leave, feeling somewhat disheartened. The overall impression left me wondering if I would even consider revisiting in the future.

I really enjoy this park. It's a nice size play area if you aren't comfortable with open field/ off leash play. There is an ev charger which is great. There are two sides to separate larger breeds from smaller. There is a bike/walk trail around the park and multiple fields.

We had a lovely walk around Patterson park on a crisp October evening. The lighting is a bit dim so don’t recommend staying too late after sunset. But we had a lovely walk a d it’s a great place to take someone visiting you from out of town.

I definitely think Patterson park needs more lights in certain areas of the park at night. Sometimes you cannot see anything ot anybody until they are up on you. As always, please stay vigilant! But during the daytime the park is vibrant and full of people and a great time!!
