10 months agoI came here to do a Thursday 6:45pm Core and Glute group class with Elizabeth. I'm a kick-boxer and also do Yoga. This class was very intense! I tried my best to keep up, my quads were SCREAMING within the first 15 min. Of class. Elizabeth was very motivating and interactive and gave us modified options. She was great. Only knocked one star because it was my first time there and I didnt know where anything was. When I got there I saw people putting equipment together and so I asked the instructor and she told me "look at what everyone else is doing and do that". Luckily I'm not a shy person and wasn't afraid to ask others where to find the stuff. So the customer service wasn't the best but overall she was great, I got an amazing workout and would definitely be coming back next time I visit.

a year agoVery nice, YMCA. It's clean. It's a big place. The pool and the gym are very nice. They have a lot of activities for everyone in the family. Their membership prices have gotten a little high, but you can apply for financial aid. You may be eligible.

a year agoFor honestly I have five stars on this gym but I like the fitness center but the only thing I got offense for no reason by twelve year old some daughter. On director staff members she was very lovely friendly person but I went for staff problem offense argument with some one daughter that when that time I got separated from I was sitting in office. But I don't like the guy that was offensive me for no reason that he was yelling for no reason by his daughter. It ruin my friend director membership by Amy was good to me but right now it look I need time to get to her for nice talk with her if see her in lobby. I love that gym in fitness center I gave five star on it because I like the staff very respectful person but I don't no problem with them unless that guy was offensive me for no reasons by his daughter.

8 months agoThis YMCA location in Pawtucket...is bias I came to this location a few weeks ago and the lady at the front desk had an attitude with me I asked to sign up for the membership and she explained that the fee was $15 after arguing with me I left to another YMCA location and paid $150 only to come back to use this location everytime I go there she feels the need to stop me from going in the 🚪 door...and say that I have to use the home YMCA location more than this one that I registered at which would have been this one if she would have just allowed me to sign up at this location I use this YMCA only once a day..if at all and for only 30 minutes or so..YMCA young man's community association..it's for the community but the fees are hefty..after I payed for the membership I don't want to be stopped on every visit after I scanned my YMCA membership card it's like racial profiling only without the store what am I stealing..leave me be or refund me at least half the fees..simply!
