7 months agoMy son began his educational journey at Peekadoodle Prep Class in Fall 2023 when he was just 20 months old, and it has been a phenomenal experience! He absolutely loved every moment. Over the past year, he made wonderful friends and his language skills have blossomed. By the time he turned 3, he was counting to ten, naming shapes, and developing a deep love for reading. The teachers and staff at Peekadoodle Prep are incredibly supportive and genuinely care about each student’s growth and development. I also appreciate receiving regular photos from his Prep day, which allow me to see all the engaging activities he participates in. These experiences are something I couldn’t provide at home or through a nanny. In short, Peekadoodle Prep Class offers a unique and exceptional experience that stands out in the city. I couldn’t be happier with the care and education my son recieved.

9 months agoPeekadoodle is a nurturing and supportive environment not only for your child's early education journey but also for you as a parent navigating the Bay Area preschool world. As a transplant to the city, I can confidently say that Peekadoodle has embraced my family in the most incredible way. The staff and the parent community have made us feel right at home from day one. My son started in the prep class just before his second birthday, and the progress he has made is astounding. We just ended his year in the 3's with a class performance that blew us away! To be able to watch how independent he is within the walls of Peekadoodle is incredible. The teachers and administrative team have created a warm, professional, and joyful atmosphere that has allowed my son to flourish. I can't wait to see my son thrive in the 4's class next fall. If you're seeking a place where your child can have fun, learn, and grow in independence and confidence, Peekadoodle is the perfect balance.

9 months agoHaving moved to San Francisco recently from Boulder, Colorado we didn't have much to go off in our search for preschools for our then 3 year old. I signed up for some tours and overheard one of the directors from another school we were touring, tell someone how great Peekadoodle was and that they should also check that school out. So, I took that message and signed up for a tour. It didn't take me long from entering the door and meeting the staff to know this was the perfect place for my child and now children. Upon entering there is the most adorable replica of a SF Victorian home inside that was fully decorated for the kids to play inside. I now know that they change up the home frequently depending on holidays and seasons. But it was really the director, Stef, that sealed the deal. She is friendly, happy, bright, kind, full of the coolest ideas, playful, warm and most of all a safe and trusting person. The entire staff is just that - in fact, I cried this last day of school (which is unlike me) hugging my child's teacher as I just felt so overwhelmed with happiness of what my child had got to experience the year prior. The the teachers are unbelievable! The place is clean, modern, full of books, color, all sorts of activities from music to baking to art that all rotate. The outdoor space is big with a huge sandbox, slide, outside place house and much more. I am not really good with words, so I hope that my message gets across very clear that Peekadoodle is a safe, fun, happy place for you to leave your kids - where they won't want to come home at the end of the day - where not only are they friends with all their classmates but us parents are all very close too! It must be the place!

9 months agoWe have been so happy with our experience at Peekadoodle! The teachers and staff are so warm and welcoming and genuinely care about all of the children. I had no idea what I was doing when it came to finding the right preschool. But after having one conversation with the amazing director, Stef, I knew this would be a great fit. Our son started at Peekadoodle when he was about to turn 3 and the change in him over the past 2 years has been remarkable. His vocabulary and social skills exploded and his little (big) personality really started to shine. He loves all of the teachers and staff so much and really looks forward to school. He surprises us almost daily with the things he’s learned! I’ve also been lucky enough to meet some amazing friends in the parents and staff. We’ll definitely be sad when our son is done with his time at Peekadoodle but luckily we’re having another one to start over 😂

8 months agoPeekadoodle has been the most wonderful experience, not just for our son who is so excited to spend every day with his teachers and friends that he doesn’t even say bye at drop-off, but for us as parents as well. As first time parents navigating the SF daycare/preschool system, the selection process can be overwhelming and stressful. This was not the case with Peekadoodle. After attending a couple Saturday playdates at the school, we got to know some of the staff (super warm and welcoming), other interested or enrolled families, and the school itself, including its curriculum and physical space (special mention to the classroom setup with a row of little sinks and the bathroom setup with a fleet of tiny, flushable toilets!) We were so fortunate to have friends already attending Peekadoodle and others applying at the same time. Having our community already vet and love the program made the decision easy, especially with Peekadoodle Prep accepting little ones as young as 20 months. We started cautiously with two half days a week, and quickly saw how our son thrived. He wanted to be around other kids and in a structured environment where he felt challenged, so we switched him to three half days, and then by the summer he was attending five whole days a week. In the past year we’ve seen how much he’s grown, and how his language and social skills have taken off and that’s due—in no small part—to his teachers Miss Frances and Miss Jackie, his Herman class friends, and the rest of the Peekadoodle community.
