"It was a beautiful day at the zoo! I lived in Denver for 9 years and thought they had a nice zoo, but Phoenix knocked it out of the park! Lots of beautiful stops and the animals were all pretty much out also. Lots of shady spots, misters, and drink stands along the whole zoo also. The staff was friendly and informative. Highly recommend for families, friends, or adult singles just wanting to walk around in the sun and look at wonderful animals."

"We love the zoo! Every trip is different and they are always improving it. The weather was great so the place was packed but still didn’t seem too crowded. We enjoyed the carousel and all the animals. It’s so nice to see the rhinos and big cats out. The leopard was looking quite regal today."
