I paid 700 dollars for a treadmill that looked in good condition, I tried it out and everything seemed to be working fine… they wanted to charge me 80 dollars for delivery and set up. I have a truck so they were kind enough to help me load it safely and there was no problem unloading it. The salesman also said you have a 30 warranty if anything goes wrong with it just call us and we’ll take care of it. 2 weeks later the off and on switch started shorting. Tried turning it on and it wouldn’t turn back on. I made sure the power cord was plugged in etc. I flipped it again and came on. To make a long story short… I spoke to the store manager (speedway) and he was instantly reprimanding me for turning it off and on. His response was so unprofessional and accusing. He remarked that he had no clue on what I had done to it… and that I was supposed to pull the key out to turn it off not the on and off switch which I was never told when buying it. wow!! So unprofessional… I mentioned the 30 day warranty and he said that he probably wouldn’t be able to get to it in couple of days plus I would have to bring it to him!! That was never mentioned to me when I purchased it. Instead of having good customer service skills which he definitely needs… he played the blame game…then he said.. I’m going to go above and beyond and go to your house and fix it!! By that time I had enough of his rude behavior. I said that I would fix it myself and I did not want his attitude anywhere near my house. His response was, well there goes your warranty! What a piece of work he was… if they just would have mentioned to me when I bought it that I would have to bring it in if something went wrong with it.. I would have known… that would have been fine, but instead I got reprimanded. So unprofessional.. train your staff better and prevent bad reviews like this one. Oh and you might want to take a basic on customer service as well.. so called manager.

With all do respect for Play it again Sports and the overhead the store has. I spent an hour at the store looking at spin bikes, I found one that fits my body shape very comfortably, so it’s doesn’t end up a future clothes rack! It was a spin bike out front for $129.00 I asked if they negotiate prices? This is a Generic Sunny Brand not a high end spin bike. I offered $100.00 plus tax and was told “No” we just got it in, no counter offer nothing to earn my business! Very disappointed, especially since I was there trying a few of the bikes for an hour. If this was NIB I get it, this is pre owned, guess I’ll look on Craig’s list or marketplaces, after all this Friday is the biggest day people blow their New Year’s resolution! I still like you guy’s but saddened by lack of trying to put this in my hands. Not even a counter offer? Respectfully, James

Knowledgeable about a lot of things and wide selection , only reason for 5 stars. Didn't want any of the items I had even the ones I bought there because they weren't in perfect condition. Even though I never used what I bought from them. Sold my stuff on Facebook for twice what they would've paid. Looking to buy I recommend, looking to sell more likely to do better on your own.

I don't understand why this place gets bad reviews. Yes, they sell dirty equipment, but it's used. Also, buying used is at your discretion, that shouldn't be placed on the seller...you have to make sure it works before you buy it. We sold some equipment and got a VERY FAIR price for our items. Better than going to a pawn shop, that's for sure. If you have time for consignment, do it. You'll get more cash. We were moving in 2 weeks, so we figured we'd just cut our losses, which wasn't much of a loss anyway. Crowded yes, but they have a lot of good stuff!
