"Just stop by at 9:55 am to pick up a birthday gift my grandson wanted so bad. We we’re leaving for Alabama and trying to beat the hurricane weather coming in. The owner would not let me in for the purchase because she wasn’t ready. Opens at 10 am. Not 9:55. Really We will NEVER shop there again. We will share this with my in-law who spends a lot of money there."

"I love Playthings! I will always pay more to buy from a local store if the alternative is a giant corporation but this local shop has great prices AND they gift wrap for free while you wait. What’s not to love? Although, perhaps they do promote procrastination because I seem to buy birthday party gifts on my way to parties and I show up on time with the perfect gift with cute wrapping paper too 😂 Oh and they’re also super nice, and that helps too."
