a week agoLove this place!!!!! There are so many animals in this beautiful, cozy, tree lined zoo. My wife and I can not believe how close you can get to the animals. These animals don't hide like they do at other zoos. All the animals seem healthy and happy. You can buy food to feed the goats, sheep, and donkeys. The best part was that we were able to feed the giraffe. The staff here is amazing. From the crew in the ticket booth to the folks in Orange shirts driving around taking care of the animals. Everyone was so friendly, and some even took the time to answer our questions. We were here for a little over 3 hours. On our way out, we went into their gift shop (which was an old mill). There are tons of t-shirts, stuffed animals, and other animal related items. The layout was very organized, and the prices were decent. We can't wait to come back and bring our family.

a week agoA great place for a family day out! Small enough to see everything, big enough to see EVERYTHING! Reasonably priced and lots of rescues. Great staff that interacts and teaches while they work. LOVE THIS ZOO!

a week agoThe zoo is small but do have so many different type of animals up close in comparison to the most zoos. White tigers, white lions, arctic wolves, brown bears, sloth and of course the peacocks, so many peacocks roaming around freely.

a month agoThis is a great smaller zoo with a variety of animals you don’t always get to see up close. It’s wonderful that most of the animals are rescues, and they all seem content in their habitats. We saw tigers, lions, cougars, bears, camels, some farm animals you can pet and feed and many more! Additionally, the peacocks 🦚 have free roam of the area, which was pretty cool. Since it was cold out, the giraffe was indoors, but we still had a great time. Definitely worth a visit!

7 months agoThe place is great! We came down from Wilmington and the drive was super easy. We came for the giraffe feeding but the whole place impressed me. I brought my 13 month old and he had a great time. All the exhibits are easy to see and the animals are rescued. The good left a little to be desired as they ran out of hot dog buns the chicken tenders were the only option. At 12 o'clock on a Thursday we had to wait about 20 minutes to get our order. Other the the wait for the food everything else was great. They have a few animals you can feed and my baby absolutely loved it. All the animals are nice and gentle.
