Ponderosa Park

In the Sunnyvale and Santa Clara neighborhood this one is one of the best parks. You get plenty of space to sit and walk around. They have 2 tennis court with 1hr play time and one basket ball court. It's full of trees, has a very big grassland. A good kids play area. Enough places to have your pet run around. Overall a nice relaxing place in the Evening. Parking: Have decent parking within the park area inside. Look for the entry gate adjacent to the park.

Playground is currently closed and under construction until October or so. This is a great neighborhood park, with a large picnic area and lawn, but it's needed an upgrade for a while.

Calm and neat park with barbeque area, children's play area, winding paths great for skating or biking or walking, benches and lots of shade trees for a quiet picnic and a vast ground ideal for running, dog walking, volleyball, badminton, frisbee, kiteflying when the wind picks up etc. I have also seen a lot of Indian communities gather here regularly for meetups and events. The park also comes with a basketball court and tennis courts and 2 private parking lots.

Very spacious park with a big enough parking lot and curb parking. There a large picnic area that can fit a large party with about 2-3 big grilling stations. The play area is close by to keep an eye on your little one. There's also a basketball/ tennis area. Two courts each. And a big baseball/ soccer field. Plenty of trees also that'll cool down hot afternoons. What's good too, it's quiet. There's ppl around but the park is quiet. Definitely would is this park for gatherings/parties

Its very good park with lot of recreation activity options. Great for kids. Lots of options to play. One can have potluck, birthday parties. It has tennis courts and very big green area for playing or relaxing. Only thing you may see is it may need some more cleaning. But this park is great for all the ages.
