4 months agoWonderful drive-through lights display, located on the Portland International Raceway. It is pay-per-car and benefits the Sunshine Division charity. Highly recommend going shortly after opening, as there will be quite a line to get in. Once inside, you can enjoy your own music as they do not have any playing, which is super nice. The light displays are some of the most well-crafted and impressive displays I have ever seen.

4 months agoI thought the Christmas light display was alright but kind of disappointing for the price of the ticket. POSITIVE: All proceeds to feeding hungry families in Portland. Lights were very basic. We went on a weekday at 5:15 pm and it wasn't very busy. Con: (for me) Ticket price & No music to tune into during drive of lights. A few tips are to take Hwy 99 there and avoid highway congestion of rush hour traffic! Also, make sure you turn your lights off driving through the display because it is not fun having lights blaring in your rearview!

4 months agoWay too expensive for the quality, they could’ve had interactive parts or something more updated than the carnival lights. I can see toddlers loving it though. They could’ve also had hot chocolate stands or something at the end.

4 months agoNot worth $51 to attend. Most drivers didn’t follow the rules. But the light display was just ok. Lots of room for improvement. In addition one guest said it looks exactly the same as last time they attended 12 years ago.

a year agoA spectacular display of Christmas lighting, with the proceeds going to hunger relief funds. The whole drive of the lighting at PIR is over 2 miles, and it took us about 40 minutes to go through it, very leisurely. We went on a weekday and there was no waiting line to enter. There were very minimal number of cars during the time we went, but we also went right after sunset. But keep in mind that you’ll be driving through rush hour to get there, if you want to get there early, on a weekday. There are quite a number of displays, both animated and static lighting and evenly spaced throughout the course of the raceway, on both sides of the track. We would recommend it for a group or family, the kids would love it.
