"I can't believe this FREE hidden gem was so close to us. This is a great afternoon family outing, offering live animals such as snakes and turtles, as well as a variety of taxidermied animals native to Missouri. They also have unique, interesting tableaus and learning stations. Overall, I'd say it's geared towards children, but it's definitely enjoyable as an adult. Also, the staff are exceptionally friendly, and they offer a variety of free learning materials to take home. This is a must-stop if you are in the area."

"We loved visiting Powder Valley! My 18mo had a blast walking around the center and looking at all the exhibits. Ms. Pat at the welcome desk was so sweet and helpful. We can’t wait for our next visit"
