"Very peaceful and open green space reflecting history. We did a short stop over, the place has a free parking and free entry. Hats off to those who are maintaining it for public access. If you are visiting Newport do have a stop over at this place."

"We stopped here to check out the windmill and have a little picnic. Our kids could run around and enjoy the scenery while we could read about the history of the place all in it wonderful outdoor setting. Great for nature Journaling! It could be done in 15 minutes or 2 hours, your choice."
