What parents say
"11.9.24 We found free street parking by Providence Athenaeum and walked down a block to do our walk around the river. Our other option was to park in the garage by the mall. This is an easy walk that's good for all ages with many spots for photos. You'll walk under bridges, see gondola boat rides (in nice weather), murals, windmills, and beautiful buildings. If walking alone, just be aware of your surroundings. After all, this is a city that's busy with locals and visitors."

"Slightly further north nearby Memorial Park, Waterfire is memorably celebrated, which at least in winter is not ridiculously crowded and a worthwhile spectacle. Ducks cavort in the river, which is fun to watch."

"I took the dogs early on a rainy Sunday morning. They loved the smells of the city. Very few people out and about at 8am. Great!"
