The Boston Public Garden is a true gem in the heart of the city—a place where history, beauty, and tranquility come together. Established in 1837, it was the first public botanical garden in the United States and remains one of the most iconic spots in Boston. Here’s what makes it special: Swan Boat rides in the spring and summer—classic and charming. Beautifully maintained flower beds that change with the seasons. Graceful willow trees and a peaceful lagoon that add to the romantic vibe. Statues like the famous Make Way for Ducklings sculpture. A perfect place for a peaceful walk, reading on a bench, or a dreamy photo session. Right next to the Boston Common, the Public Garden offers a quiet, scenic escape with European-style landscaping. Whether you're local or visiting, it’s the kind of place that never gets old—every visit feels a little magical.

A nice stop on the Freedom Trail with lots of beauty outdoors to see. From sculptures to lakes to woodland type wildlife, you can spend 20-30 minutes walking through here or the whole day with a picnic and outdoor games or book. Not far from many popular Boston sights, make sure to stop in on a beautiful day and soak in the public gardens.

Beautiful Park which is actually the West side somehow of the Boston Common Park. Very different with a much larger ponds (mini lake?). Here you have a lot of squirrels and can stroll in summer and take the sun. We really enjoyed it, and would definitely come back.
