I had the pleasure of experiencing a hot air balloon ride with Rainbow Ryders, and it was absolutely phenomenal! From the beginning, their communication was excellent, with a friendly text the day before to ensure we were prepared. On the day of the ride, the crew greeted us warmly and set clear expectations, prioritizing safety in a way that felt both efficient and reassuring. Our pilot, Alfred, was exceptional—his kindness and openness made the journey even more special. He kept us comfortable and entertained, even easing my mom’s nerves with his humor and warmth. The breathtaking views and the peaceful ride left me smiling the entire time. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I’m so glad I shared it with Alfred and Rainbow Ryders. I highly recommend them to anyone visiting New Mexico!

5 Stars – Unforgettable Balloon Ride Over Albuquerque! Rainbow Ryders gave us an absolutely incredible experience in Albuquerque, New Mexico! From the moment we arrived on site, the energy was high, the team was welcoming, and everything was so well-organized. Watching the balloon inflate as the sun rose over the desert was magical—but floating peacefully above the Sandias and seeing the city wake up from the sky? That was something special. Our pilot was fantastic—super experienced and kept us feeling safe, informed, and entertained the whole way through. The post-flight toast was the perfect way to wrap up a memory we’ll never forget. If you’re in Albuquerque and thinking about checking this off your bucket list, Rainbow Ryders is the only way to go. 100% recommend.

My mom and I booked our flight a couple months in advance and the whole process was very smooth and easy. We did a sunrise flight in Albuquerque; Our pilot Alfred was professional, fun and made us all feel very safe. He was great and helped make our bucket list adventure amazing!

Our pilot was fantastic, you could tell he has a love for ballooning. We felt safe and relaxed the entire time with him piloting us. He even manage to land us on the river where we floated just above the water for a time before going back above the tree canopy where we looked for porcupines. It was an amazing experience with my nephew. I always recommend the early morning option as NM and afternoon winds are always an issue.

Words can not express how good this company was. Their top priority was our safety! They have a great staff who went above and beyond to make our experience the most memorable one. From our pilot to his assistants, to the registration process… they were exceptional! They took us up to see beautiful views of what at first I thought im just gonna see a city in the desert. Was I mistaken! They provided us champagne toast and snacks after the flight and they transported us to and from the launch sight safely and comfortably. I can’t recall the name of our pilot and staff but I will post them in pictures below. I most definitely recommend this company.
