2 months agoGreat place for anyone who plays pokemon go that lives in the area. Plus the center itself offers a place for birthday parties for children, has an awesome playground, summertime swimming and indoor water-themed playground, weekly senior bingo, an amazing little league baseball field that has been rebuilt from the ground up in 2024 with top of the line nighttime field lights that turn night into day and directly behind the rec center is the hidden gem for anybody who enjoys a challenging BMX style course as well as some mountain-bike obstacles that could offer great practice for those who don't always have the time to make the trip to the mountain but still want to keep up their skills. There are dirt tabletops as well as a massive dirt to wooden wall for serious riders only. Most jumps are not for beginners. It used to actually be a full bmx race course with legit races biweekly but now it's more of just a place to ride with others who enjoy the sport itself.

11 months agoTried to see when the basketball gym was open for my kids to go play and the person who answered the phone didn’t give any answer besides “Our gym is closed for programs”. I asked several different ways to see how the programs work and got the same answer all several times. These people need training….

a year agoVery disappointed called multiple times with no call back attempting to get a practice time for kids. When I finally got ahold of someone after being put on hold for over 20 minutes and having to call back again he was extremely short and not willing to help or take my information. Said they have set teams that go in to practice. Had to follow up and ask if there was any way of scheduling in the future and again “nope” seems like whoever they have in there practicing are who they want in there.

2 years agoIt is a senior center and the bigger building is a gym. I don't know much about it but there is a receptionist to answer all your questions. The seniors had an outing usually on Frdays, they have those periodically. They are held in the small building to the right of the main building. There is an exercise room with equipment.
