About Reflex Gymnastics Azalea Park
Reflex Gymnastics Azalea Park offers a structured, clean, and air-conditioned environment ideal for children to learn gymnastics and progress through various skill levels, from recreational beginners to competitive team members. While renowned for generally supportive and skilled coaches who help children develop confidence and discipline, particularly younger ones, parents should be aware of a potentially high coach turnover rate. The facility excels in offering convenient make-up classes and maintaining a positive atmosphere, making it a strong choice for long-term engagement despite some reported inconsistencies in front desk customer service.

Insider tips
- Be prepared for potential coach changes during your child's enrollment, as high turnover has been noted.
- For detailed or specific questions, it might be more effective to call the gym's main number rather than relying solely on the front desk staff for immediate answers.
- This gym is particularly well-suited if you are seeking a long-term gymnastics program with a clear progression path for your child.
- If your child is a 'little one' (preschool/early elementary), inquire about coaches known for consistency and effectiveness with younger children, like 'Coach Addie' mentioned in reviews.
Good to know before you go
- If you require absolute consistency in coaching staff without any changes over several months.
- If you prefer to have all your questions and concerns addressed immediately and comprehensively by an experienced adult at the front desk.
- If you are uncomfortable with the possibility of being directed to call a number for simple inquiries at reception.
- Reported high coach turnover rate; one child had 3 coaches in 6 months, which can impact consistency of instruction.
- Some college-aged staff at reception are perceived to lack good customer service skills and may direct parents to call a number for simple questions instead of providing immediate answers.
- Value
- No specific pricing details are provided in the reviews. However, the value proposition includes a clean, air-conditioned facility, easy make-up classes, and a pathway for progression from recreational to competitive gymnastics. The overall positive long-term experiences, despite some service inconsistencies, suggest a good value for families committed to gymnastics training.
- Accessibility
- No specific accessibility accommodations mentioned in the reviews.
- Safety
- While not explicitly detailed, the emphasis on 'discipline' and 'stability' in training for young children suggests a focus on structured and potentially safe learning practices within the gymnastics environment.
What parents say
"We’ve been attending for almost a year. I love that the gym is air conditioned and make up classes/reschedules are an easy process. It seems like they have a high turnover rate for coaches. They employ a lot of college aged kids and some of them don’t seem to know the value of good customer service. It’s like they forget we’re paying for a service. When i first started with my daughter there was an older lady at the reception who got it. Plus i felt like there was an adult to speak to when i had questions and someone who also had real answers. Instead we have a college aged kid who is just lik"

"Daughter started a few years ago in rec and worked her way up to advance. Recently decided to try out and make the comp team. She is very excited and happy with the gym and the coaches. I appreciate the cleanliness and organization of the gym. It's easy to get a hold of someone and get questions answered. So far it's been a positive experience."

"My daughter (4 years old) has been attending Reflex Gymnastics for a little over a year now and we love it! The coaches are great and they really broke my daughter out of her shell. My daughter looks forward to her classes and has learned so much. I was looking for something that would give her stability, discipline, and a way to use her 4 year old energy and Reflex has delivered. Highly recommend!"
