a month agoThis is a really new gym that is well thought out and has a lot of bouldering wall area. They keep it very clean, have lockers, and lots of sets for a variety of levels. The lower level climbs are very fun with a lot of lateral movement instead of just ladders. I've now gone back about 10 times and really enjoy it. The setting tends to be on the harder side which helps you get better. And, they have a lot of variety so you'll definitely find many problems to fit your current skill level.

9 months agoBeen climbing since their open house a month ago and absolutely love it! I've climbed at most of the gyms here in KC, but the styles and holds of the different routes, especially the lower level ones, is very unique. These routes push you to try new techniques and advance your climbing skills further.

10 months agoI can't overstate how happy I am to have a gym that's closer to the Grandview/Belton area. Definitely on the smaller side but there's decent variety. There's also lots of hangout areas for winding down. As of writing (2024 June), there's a decent skill gap between their V1-V2 and V3-V4 problems but that honestly might just be a personal skill issue lol

7 months agoI love rock climbing and haven’t gotten to do it much since moving here from NM. My kids love the classes, the top-out area is amazing. There are routes of all types. That being said- I haven’t been climbing for a long time, and I need some easier courses to get back into it on. There are very few 90 degree walls here except the top-out section the kids dominate. Otherwise the larger walls are 80% negative angles and totally impossible for someone starting over to hold on to (Thanks gravity). I would have preferred a few less overhangs in favor of plumb 90 degree climbs. I love that several of the routes require some traversing making them so much more fun. They’re like putting together a puzzle! Otherwise the price is perfect, the staff is great and the atmosphere is friendly, clean, and safe.
