a month agoI definitely recommend going on a feeding day/time. There are many different animals and petting the turtles was definitely a plus! My daughter absolutely loved it. They have scavenger hunt pages near the front desk. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is there were many cobwebs and it was a bit dusty. But it was definitely worth it at a great price!

a month agoThis place is great. I was driving past on a road trip and screamed PULL OVER!!! when I saw the sign. It was $10 for kids, $20 for adults. They had two large rooms which were a maze of rescued pet reptiles in clean enclosures, well fed, and all had access to water. Everyone seemed happy and well taken care of. At the “petting zoo” part of the place, the youth employee managing the ball python part of the petting zoo was kind, and the gentlemen managing the baby croc was knowledgeable and friendly. I was particularly pleased with some of the older rescued individuals, including Markus, who was born in 1970! I would totally go back.

a week agoIf you love animals, such a fun place to come and visit some cool reptiles and amphibians! Came during feeding time so we got to see some of the large snakes and alligators eat, which was a super cool, unique, and up-close experience! They have a two-headed turtle and albino alligator, as well as many animals up for adoption which I really appreciate. There are also many labels that explain where each animal is from, their diet, lifespan, fun facts, and their fun names in addition to lots more.

2 months agoTook the family there for our first time and they had a blast. We got there right before they were about to feed one side of the museum. Animals look well feed and healthy. It's worth a visit!
