4 months agoA nice place to walk But I would recommend you walk closer to town or closer to 470 The river is lovely but on inside in this section is a recycling plant and on the other side a concrete recycling plant The smell from the compost was noticeable in November Them when you walk down stream You find the trash collection area and the smell was noticeable Restrooms were permanently closed

11 months agoRiver run park is a fun place for people of all age groups, if you are into boating, cycling, running this is the best place you can find in Denver. They have facilities for small picnic, you can explore the nature with you r family. The Englewood rec center is nearby so you can also go for some games or golf. Their public restrooms, facilities for little kids needs improvement. Highly recommend visiting the park.

a year agoGreat little stop! Had to get some air and see something pretty but didn’t want to spend money so this was a perfect place to pull into and explore! Can’t wait to come back with a bike.

a year agoI love the fact that Denver has invested in revitalizing the platt river both from an ecological and public use perspective. River run park showcases the effort with great amenities like parking, bathrooms, bike paths, seating, a surf wave, and nice grass. There is a hood group of people that watch out for each other on the wave and we had a great time. Will definitely be back and hope that Denver continues to improve the platt and make it more useable like this. Next time your in the area come check it out!

4 months agoBeware the golfers here! Some of them will go out of their way to be rude. I mean I get it, we just have a dog and want to wander around, and we are interrupting your grip on your shaft or something. If we are not supposed to use one bridge, then it should be labeled. Otherwise this park was lovely.
