My 8 year old did the summer RobotiX Camp and loved it!! They have different levels depending on your specific child’s age/experience. They have great safety protocols in place as well and use “Robo Bucks” as an incentive for the kids to choose good behavior and clean up after themselves, etc. SK and Sally and all the instructors are so friendly! Thank you for offering a fun and safe environment for kids!

For anybody who's serious about learning any kind of coding or anything with robotics, please avoid this place at all cost. They will directly mislead you and only give you partial truths only to fill spots and to make money. We tried The RobotiX Institute out last year with both our son and daughter only to stop going early due to several issues. It all started when the owners directly lied to our children about having either cameras or sensors in the bathrooms to monitor their bathroom activities. We understand that they had issues with some kids clogging up the toilets and sink. However, we think that it is a poor choice to directly lie about cameras or sensors in the bathroom. First of all, that is extremely illegal to have cameras in the bathroom. Second, it brings up issues with their character that they would choose to lie and scare children instead of properly directing them. Another issue we had is this place is no more than a glorified daycare. There's zero guidance & no one really knows anything. If your children want help with coding you can't get it because no one there knows coding. If there're any issues with building the robots you can't get the correction because the team is busy relaxing instead of trying to help. This is probably because the teenagers that are "working there" are on a volunteer basis. From what we understand, none of them are paid at all. Last year when we brought some of these issues up to the owner, he assured us that they do have a strong Camp and a strong team that actually teaches coding and we just happen to choose the wrong Camp option. Fast forward to this year, we took them at their word and gave them the benefit of the doubt. We signed our daughter up for the Python Vex IQ robotics coding camp, only to find out that the coding portion was only going to be virtual and only 2 hours. It was also supposed to be 5 days of coding. However, on the first day no coding instructions were given. On the second day they spent 2 hours on technical issues and only learned how to code what their name was, what their age was and their grades of the courses that they have taken last year, none of which apply to coding the Vex IQ robots. On top of not getting any real coating, some of the issues we had from last year still persist currently. For example, the owners or the adults present would play ping pong instead of guiding the children who signed up for their camp better. We are okay with taking breaks and making the environment fun. However, the sad thing is when a parent pulls up the adults quickly put the ping pong paddles down and pretend to be working or busy helping the children at camp. This ties into their character, and intentionally misleading and dishonest to the children along with the parents. We brought these issues up again with the owner. It seemed like he wanted to help and understood and gave us an option to get a full refund since we were not coming back after day two. We took him up on his offer however 2 weeks later, still no refund. We also went back to follow up on the refund a week after the camp, and he assured us that we would get it. However, once again no refund has been issued. To wrap up this review, I strongly encourage anyone who's serious about robotics to choose another camp, unless you are okay with your children just playing all day long with no guidance and being treated as if they are in a daycare. Update 07/01/2024 Refund issued, but it was only a partial refund due to "processing fees". To address the owner's response, I wanted to clarify inaccurate statements: - there were no internet nor Wi-Fi issues or outages. It was audio issues and issues with a website being blocked. Also the virtual instructor ignored many attempts from our child and others in finding resolution to audio and blocked site issues. Also as stated earlier the first day didn't include any coding. - the owner threatened a law suit based on my review, but my review will stand as it's honest & true. We have proof of everything.

Our 10 year old has been to a couple of different Robotics camps and he seems to always want to go back to the Robotix Institute. They have multiple programs by age group that helps kids build the right foundation and confidence to explore in the STEM curriculum. They make learning fun as well and engaging. We would definitely recommend this place for anyone interested in exploring Robotics.

The RobotiX Institute has been an absolutely fantastic experience for my son! He has attended the summer camp and weekly classes and has loved both. The programs are very well organized, exciting, and the instructors are passionate and engaging. I highly recommend it!
