6 months agoTerrible place. No runs for beginners. Constantly closed sections for repairs. But what killed it for me was their loose dog policy. Dogs can just run around there and chill under climbers. So falling climbers have to choose between breaking an ankle or crushing a dog. I wrote to the manager about this and never got a reply. I don't think they care. Do not go here. Worst climbing gym around.

5 months agoWe had a preseason team bonding party at Rockreation for my son’s ice hockey team. The boys loved it. Everything was well organized, the employees explained how to get into the belaying harnesses and climbing shoes, and tied them to a safety rope that is suspended from the ceiling, which allows the employee to be sure the climber does not fall to the ground (belaying). All the boys climbed the myriad of walls with various degrees of difficulty. They had a blast. There’s also a separate room where we set up food and drink. Totally great experience.

5 months agoRockreation is a great place for team events or training/exercise. The staff are welcoming and accommodating, and you feel at home whether you’re a beginner or expert in climbing. I definitely recommend this business for a fun and unique outing.

6 months agoI strongly advise against coming here. My 7yo was attending a "climbing camp". On his last day I decided to arrive few minutes early to see how he was doing. As it turned out he didn't even got a chance to climb once that day (sic!) - he was given only shoes and no other equipment. Moreover, it turned out that he was pretty much ignored for the whole day and hardly participated in any activities. When I picked him up he was very sad. What scared me even more was that no one here could explain what is/was going on and felt responsible for the camp/my kid; the person at the reception desk said that she arrived like 30 min earlier and knows nothing - she gave me an email address to "Lee" (supposedly a manager). I sent a complaint and received no answer (experience similar to that of some other people writing reviews here). There were so many things wrong with this "service" that I could write an essay. BTW I run a tennis school and have been organizing sport activities for children for years so I feel very competent to judge this situation. I would NEVER allow myself or my employees to be so unprofessional and careless. Shame.

5 months agoAMAZING GYM! Great vibes, everyone is super nice, and there is a such a great community. It’s so affordable for all the amenities there are; moonboard, lead arch, bouldering, gym, etc.
