Ideal For

Families with older children (8/9+) seeking adventurous and challenging playground equipment.

Quiet afternoon outings or playdates, particularly on weekdays.
Those looking for a safe and peaceful outdoor play environment away from large crowds.

💡Pro Tips from Reviews

  • Plan for the lack of restrooms by using facilities before arriving or being prepared for improvised solutions.
  • If you have younger children (under 8-9), be ready to actively play with and assist them, especially on the challenging rope tower and slides.
  • Consider bringing sun protection (hats, sunscreen) for areas that may be sunny despite the shaded zone.
  • If musical instruments are a key interest, confirm mallet availability upon arrival or consider bringing your own if suitable.

Things to Consider

  • No restrooms are available directly at the park, which is a significant inconvenience for families.
  • The main rope slide and tower can be daunting and challenging for younger children; a 7-year-old reportedly struggled with the height and climbing access.
  • Some musical toys were reported to be missing mallets.
  • While there's a shaded area, some parts of the park can be sunny, suggesting variable sun exposure.

Price & Value

This appears to be a free public park, offering excellent value for the unique and varied play equipment available without any admission cost.

Accessibility & Special Needs

  • Features wheelchair accessible entrances.

🍎Food & Drink Policy

  • No explicit food policy is mentioned, but it's implied that outside food and drinks are permissible given the lack of on-site facilities and mention of 'post cocoa emergencies'.

🚗Parking Info

  • Not explicitly detailed, but the description of a 'nice safe & quiet area' suggests that parking is likely available and not problematic (e.g., street parking or a small dedicated lot common for neighborhood parks).

👥Crowd Levels

  • Generally quiet and not crowded; one reviewer noted only one other family on a Friday afternoon, indicating it's often peaceful.

🛡️Safety Features

  • Most equipment is reported to be in good condition, suggesting regular maintenance.
  • Play surfaces include a combination of soft woodchips and turf to cushion falls.
  • Located in a safe neighborhood.
  • A warning regarding the 'giant rope jungle gym' potentially being 'a little dangerous for smaller kids' implies that active parental supervision is highly recommended for younger children on this structure.

When to Avoid

  • If easy access to restrooms is a non-negotiable necessity for your family (e.g., with very young children or specific needs).
  • If you are seeking a park primarily designed for unassisted play for children under 7-8 years old on all major structures.
  • If you prefer an entirely shaded play area, as some parts of the park can be sunny.

No restrooms nearby and the rope slide can be a bit daunting for younger aged kids. This park is great for maybe 8/9+ as there are many older kids things to do which younger children will struggle to play with. Not to say this isn’t a good park for all ages, it has baby swings even I believe. However, my 7yr old was even struggling with the height of the rope slide and how it is accessed via climbing. If you have younger ones, be ready to play with them on a few of the toys because of the complications they’ll bring. Overall, amazing park in a nice safe & quiet area. We will certainly be back again.

Nice little park, Friday afternoon and only one other family there. The music toys were missing some mallets, the rest of the equipment was in good shape. Nice and quiet area.

Younger kids can enjoy the swings and musical instruments and a little slide, while older kids will also enjoy climbing the huge rope tower, large slides, and zip line. 👩🏼 Braved the rope tower to help 👧🏼 down the slide, it's only slightly terrifying, but very fun. Surface: woodchips and turf Shade: sunny Bathroom: no (lots of trees in case of post cocoa emergencies 🙃) Wheelchair accessible entrances A five ⭐ park if it had a bathroom.

Nice little park and clean. Had some unique playground equipment though the giant rope jungle gym might be a little dangerous for smaller kids.

A great little park with really cool playground equipment. There’s lots of natural things to climb and walk on. The big shaded area for when it’s hot.
