"We were there yesterday, first time to the Safari Splash, not first time to the zoo or a splash pad. Our son is 21 months and in my opinion too young for this venue. There are small slides for toddlers but the proximity to the large slides means a lot of bumping and pushing of little kids. I also wish there were lockers for belongings. I was in the spray zone with my toddler so keeping my diaper bag and personal belongings on me weren't an option. The big slides looked fun, but the monitoring was not done. "Non swimmers have to pay; small area, crowded, not enough shade; areas (or complete area) not always working/open - we once had the entire area shutdown 5 minutes after we arrived, continually told 'almost ready'.. over an hour in all; no discount or refund."
