2 weeks agoHands-down, the best kayaking trip we’ve ever had. The location and views along the river were spectacular. The staff & boat crew were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Thanks to them it made the experience even better. We will definitely be back next year. My only critique… You need to make your tip jar, bigger and visible. You guys deserve it! Thanks again! a month agoWe enjoyed a fantastic family vacation at the ranch. The views of the nearby Bulldog mountains from the lodge were spectacular (see attached photo which doesn't do it justice!). The staff at the ranch were welcoming and helpful and the food was delicious. My kids are already asking to go back. They had no screen time and just played outdoors: swimming, hiking, rafting, roasting marshmallows, dancing. It was such a nice reset for our family after a long winter on the East Coast (we live in Connecticut). I can't recommend the place highly enough, we will definitely be going back many, many more times!

a month agoMy husband and I got married here a couple years ago which was an amazing experience. It’s such a unique and gorgeous venue. All our guests were raving about how beautiful it was and people still comment to us about it to this day. We went back this year for a horseback ride and their cowboy cookout for our two year anniversary and it’s still just as beautiful as we remembered and still has that historic/rustic charm but classy feel at the same. The staff were friendly, the horse ride was fun and the food was AMAZING! I highly recommend going to one of their dinners for a date night, an anniversary, a birthday or even just because. They’re really fun and you couldn’t ask for a more beautiful backdrop to enjoy some delicious food and live music to.

a month agoMy family had an amazing time at Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch. The rooms were perfect for my family, and I loved the western/cowboy decor. The location felt off the grid, but it was actually pretty close to Phoenix which meant that we didn't need to rent a car, just got an uber from the airport. The staff was incredibly nice - they treated us like family. The fresh squeezed orange juice machine was amazing (might depend on the season - we traveled in March). Also, the scenery was unreal.

a month agoOne of my favorite places on earth. The setting is breathtaking, dusk brings these incredible colors in the sky and light on the 'Bulldog' mountains in the background. The ranch dinners that they have are so special. It feels very communal, the food is surprisingly good and live music makes for an ambience and kind of evening where you forget everything that's going on, and just relax. Hikes, gorgeous. River, fun to raft down. Pool, perfect setting. Lodge, really cute and unique. The history of the place is worth learning! Five stars, highly recommend.
