4 weeks agoAn incredible collection of gardens showcasing plants from around the world. The paths are well designed, leading to nicely composed views. The gardens also play host to a variety of birds and lizards, including some incredible hummingbirds. Much of the gardens are in the sun, so be prepared with sunscreens or parasols, but it's wonderful strolling.

2 months agoBeautiful grounds with tons of plants and informative plaques. Organized by regions and incredibly scenic you could get lost in all of the beauty this place has to offer! It was our first time here and we would definitely come back next time we are in the area! The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

4 months agoSan Diego Botanic Garden in Encinitas is absolutely stunning! This multi-level botanical park is like a journey around the world with plants from every corner of the globe. The smells are incredible—one moment you’re in a tropical jungle, the next in a peaceful desert. They’ve done an amazing job creating spaces for kids, with plenty of play areas and family-friendly spots. We ended up getting an annual family membership, and I can already tell this is going to be our favorite park. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax, explore, and enjoy nature!

3 months agoGo! If you want to be wowed by incredible specimens from a diverse climate then make plans to go. Spring is the best time when everything is blooming and growing. And don’t miss the holiday light show which takes you through the gardens to experience unique light displays, some with musical accompaniment. All well done and worth a visit.

2 weeks agoWas here for a wedding and it was amazing. The garden is full of amazing trails and greenery from different regions. The bamboo forest and pond is at the furthest point of the gardens but we'll worth the brisk walk to enjoy. 10 of 10 would recommend for a weekend hang out, date location, and weddings.
