"I have to say I was impressed well above my expectations. This is such a gem for a small Hill Country town. I think this rivals if not surpasses some of the 'big city' museums and similar venues. The number, variety, and sophistication of the displays were interesting even for adults. While it is 'geared' for kids, as adults we found it fascinating. We spent about 3 1/2 hours here, and if it weren't for a bit of a limited attention span of elementary grandkids, we could have easily spent longer. Indoor and outdoor activities. The outdoor ball machine was great fun and we had to peel them away."

"This place is a really amazing. LBJ history on the walls with huge wooden beams and rusted silos. This is usually something you find in the big city. My 9 year old son loves this place. They make it easy to navigate the projects. I am so lucky to have this just 35 min of hill country drive away."

"While we may have been both the oldest and only childless couple there- the museum was genuinely a blast. A number of the exhibits were intently interesting and thoughtful. Very well executed. Almost all of them being interactive was a ton of fun. Only bummer was seeing the axolotl in such a small tank. I hope it's not kept there 24/7"
