💡Pro Tips from Reviews
- →For popular programs, especially competitive leagues, be prepared to register immediately when spots open, as they fill up within the first week.
- →If considering youth soccer leagues, inquire specifically about the quality of turf, soccer balls, and referee training/safety standards, as these were significant concerns in adult leagues.
- →The climbing gym is highly recommended and caters to all skill levels, making it a good option for families with varied climbing experience.
Things to Consider
- ⚠For competitive soccer leagues (primarily cited by adult players): complaints about old and long turf, and low-quality, light soccer balls.
- ⚠Refereeing standards in competitive leagues are described as 'horrific,' with untrained referees who miss simple calls and allow dangerous fouls (e.g., into the wall). Parents should inquire about referee training and safety protocols for youth leagues.
- ⚠Competitive league spots fill up extremely quickly, often within the first week of opening, indicating high demand and potential difficulty securing a spot.
- ⚠Lack of 'pickup' game opportunities throughout the year (cited for adult soccer).
Price & Value
Pricing for adult team soccer leagues is mentioned as 'fair' by one reviewer, though this is heavily offset by significant complaints about the quality of turf, balls, and refereeing, suggesting poor value for money in that specific context. No specific pricing information is available for children's soccer programs or the climbing gym.
♿Accessibility & Special Needs
- •No specific accommodations mentioned in the reviews.
🍎Food & Drink Policy
- •Snacks and drinks are available for purchase on-site.
🚗Parking Info
- •No specific information about parking is mentioned in the reviews.
👥Crowd Levels
- •League spots (for adult soccer) fill up within the first week of opening, indicating high demand and potential for crowded conditions during peak league times, or difficulty securing a spot.
🛡️Safety Features
- •No explicit safety features are mentioned in the positive reviews.
- •A significant safety concern is raised in adult league reviews regarding refereeing, which reportedly allows dangerous fouls (e.g., 'foul the shit out of you including into the wall') due to untrained staff. Parents should clarify safety protocols and referee training for any youth competitive leagues.
⏰When to Avoid
- • If your primary interest is highly competitive, fairly officiated soccer leagues, particularly given the strong negative feedback on refereeing, turf quality, and league management for adult divisions. Parents should investigate if these issues extend to youth competitive leagues.
- • If you require flexible 'pickup' game options for soccer, as they are reportedly not offered.

2 months agoThe pricing for a team is fair as an adult player. There are many things that are bad about this place, unfortunately this is the only place in Richmond to play soccer indoor in a league. They dont allow cleats to be worn during the league but in pickup they do, the turf is old and long, the balls that they play with are light and low quality, they offer 0 pickup throughout the year when there are hundreds of people who would pay for it, the reffing is low quality with no common ruleset, also spots fill up for all of the seasons within the first week opening, they dont offer enough ways to play in general.

3 months agoRefereeing has been horrific the last 2-3 years. Not sure what happened, but it seems like they trashed their standards in that regard. They are not trained. They dont make simple calls. They let people foul the shit out of you including into the wall, which used to be a big no-no. The divisions are garbage, and teams often lose their first game to be put in lower divisions. Theres no rosters, so teams just bring in their ringer friends off the street and destroy the parity of the divisions. RISE is further away, but at least they have over 30 and over 40 divisions.
