2 weeks agoI've been coming here since I was a kid. Some parts are exactly as I remember which was great. I got to watch the sea otter show which was very informative and fun. The new addition to the aquarium is pretty incredible. Being able to look up and see a ray swim overhead was pretty surreal and it's always great to see all the people upside looking up as you pass the aquarium. A must see in Seattle.

a month agoAnother great attraction on the waterfront. Large open aquarium right at the entrance. Life on the edge exhibit allows kids to go hands on with local sea life. Guides readily accessible to teach kids and adults alike about the various sea creatures. Lots of interpretive signage about oceans and the local sea life for environmental education purposes. Awesome octopus exhibit, so you can see this amazing unique creature up close. Signage on the wall nearby explains all the biology of this fascinating animal. Definitely a must for families with kids to fit in some environmental education in while hitting all the vacation hot spots like the space needle and museums.

a week agoLoved being able to take the kids there and let them explore all the animals in a safe environment. You can really tell that the staff really are passionate about being there and sharing with everyone. Loved hearing all the little answers to the questions and felt like a kid all over again. It's pretty cool to see the new addition on the other side and see just how many exhibits they've added.

3 weeks agoDefinitely purchase your tickets beforehand if you can to avoid having to wait in line. The entire aquarium was full of such amazing creatures, and the habitats were very clearly well maintained. Every employee we encountered was knowledgeable, kind, and great at educating guests. The show that was put on in the newer building was very informative and entertaining, and the equipment for it is quite impressive! 10/10 would recommend this as a must see when visiting Seattle.

a month agoI recently had the most amazing experience at the Seattle Aquarium with my brother and his kids, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, we were all in awe of the incredible marine life on display. The highlight of our visit was definitely the giant octopus – it was absolutely mesmerizing! Watching it move around and interact with its environment was truly a sight to behold. The kids were particularly fascinated by the baby jellyfish. They were so delicate and beautiful, and it was amazing to learn how these little creatures survive in the ocean. We spent so much time just staring at them in wonder. But it wasn’t just about the exhibits – the aquarium also offers fantastic hands-on experiences, like the touch tank. The kids were thrilled to gently touch sea stars, anemones, and even sea cucumbers – it was both fun and educational! What really stood out to me, though, was the wealth of knowledge shared by the staff. They’re so passionate about the ocean and its creatures, and it really made our visit feel even more special. We learned so much about underwater ecosystems, local marine life, and conservation efforts. All in all, our trip to the Seattle Aquarium was an unforgettable experience. It’s a perfect spot for families, offering a mix of fun, hands-on activities, and plenty of opportunities to learn about the amazing creatures that call the ocean home. We left with a new appreciation for the underwater world and a bunch of great memories! ❤️ Bridgett
