Shasta Community Park

"Lovely park. Across street from a light rail station and has a library next to the playground. Nice baseball field, great playground, and has a decent looking skate park."

"Sadly, I have to give this a negative rating. Could be such a fun park, like it was when it opened. They have many fun things to discover, picnic area, spray ground, soccer field, great library, good parking, etc. But the last few years the upkeep has really gone downhill. Things are broken a lot, absolutely wreaks of human pee (especially on a hot day). Homeless everywhere, trash littered about, amd the bathrooms are so gross. I just don't feel safe there anymore, from both a physical and health standpoint."

"Shasta park is a good park for everyone. There is lots of space, lots of tables and benches, two play areas, a splash pad, and room for sports and activities. It’s next to a public library. It’s also home for several stops and gyms for Pokémon Go players, with an active group that turns up regularly for events."
