School-Aged Children (5-12 years): Will likely enjoy both playgrounds and the open space for running and exploring. The bike/walking paths are also suitable.
All Ages/Families: The walking/biking paths, picnic areas, and overall open space are suitable for family outings, including teens and adults.

Ideal For

Families seeking a full day of outdoor entertainment and diverse activities.
Playdates for multiple families or children of varying ages.
Families who enjoy walking, biking, or picnicking in a spacious outdoor setting.
Dog owners looking for a park where their pets are welcome alongside playgrounds.

💡Pro Tips from Reviews

  • **For families with young children:** Be aware of the 'big steps' on the larger playground; consider prioritizing the smaller playground or providing close supervision on the bigger one.
  • **For wheelchair users:** While paved paths are accessible, be prepared for navigating a 'big bump' and wood chips if attempting to access playground equipment directly.
  • **Plan for an extended visit:** With diverse amenities like two playgrounds, trails, and picnic areas, you can comfortably spend several hours or a full day.
  • **Bring your dog:** The park is explicitly dog-friendly, with easy trails suitable for walking your pet.

Things to Consider

  • Accessibility for wheelchairs on the playgrounds is semi-limited: while ramps exist, there is a 'big bump' to get onto equipment, and wood chips make navigating difficult.
  • The larger playground has 'two big steps' that are challenging for smaller children, leading to potential falls and requiring considerable effort to climb/descend.

Accessibility & Special Needs

  • **Paved Parking:** Available and accessible.
  • **Walking Paths:** Paved and accessible for wheelchairs, strollers, and bikes.
  • **Playground Equipment:** Semi-accessible; features ramps but includes a 'big bump' to get onto the equipment itself. The ground cover consists of wood chips, which can be difficult for wheelchairs to navigate.

Such a great park. Paved parking. Bathroom facilities. Paved walking paths. Semi-accessible equipment; the equipment has ramps but there is a big bump to get onto the equipment, also wood chips aren't terribly accessible to navigate in a chair. There are two playgrounds which are both great. Highly recommend.

This park has pretty much everything, you can probably spend the day there. Playground of course, restrooms, tennis court, a really big walking trail and picnic tables. The walking path just goes in a big circle. There is another smaller playground on the other side of the park, you can walk to the other side or drive around. I gave this a four star rating because there are two big steps on the bigger playground. My daughter was stepping down off of one of the steps and fell on her face. It takes a lot of effort to climb up and down those steps, especially for smaller kids.
