a year agoI used to love this neighborhood event that benefits schools. However, in those days there were lots and lots of different chili stands all in a row with lines of 5 to 10 people. Now there is little chili interspersed with lots of merchandise. Lines are way long running down into alleyways. My husband and I didn’t get a cup, just a small paper bowl. We managed to get one taste of chili for our $50 then finally gave up the fight and bought pizza. Sadly this is an event we used to look forward to, but one to which we won’t return.
