9 months agoI would recommend this place if you have kids. Not saying you won’t have fun without kids, but there aren’t a lot to do, except for the slides, surfing and the lazy river. There isn’t a pool to just swim/relax. There are no shades unless you pay for it. We paid $50/day for an umbrella with 2 lounge chairs. When we went they only had a few food options available, which was a total bum because it was items we didn’t want but was hungry so ate it anyway. No food/drinks are allowed in, only water. They will check your bag so don’t try to sneak lol. Parking was free and plenty. Overall, we had fun as a family and would return. The lazy river was the best, and it was nice and long! The park itself was clean and appeared well maintained. Would be fantastic if they could add FREE shaded areas throughout.

10 months agoClayton county offered a senior day for the 55 and up folks. What a great time and a fantastic water experience. Music and activities were planned and the water was so relaxing. Loved the lazy river and the basketball nets in the center of the pool. Did not go to the concession area as it was a special event and it was closed. The park is clean and offered a variety of water activities. The floating pool indicates 1,038 person capacity so I would get here early as I know that this would fill up quickly on a hot day🥵 with kids. Great way to cool off locally! Well done Clayton County 👏🏽

10 months agoThe park offers hours of fun and activities to keep the entire family happy after several visits. I took my littles here for the first time last week and I had to drag them out because they didn’t want to leave. We mainly spent time at the toddler play area, but we’ll be sure to return to visit the wave pool, ride the tubes along the lazy river, and try out some of the big slides. There’s no need to bring food because the cafe offers plenty of options and they also have a flavored ice truck to help cool down on super hot days.

a month agoYou guys, I'm ridiculously stoked about Spivey! I've created memories that'll last longer than my tan lines, and this is my first-ever real job, no joke, I had an absolute blast spending my summer at Spivey making new buddies, playing at the park. Other than me, the staff is amazingly cool, safety is always the top priority here at Spivey. Other than it being crazy crowded most weekends, which is totally normal, I highly recommend this waterpark to anyone who wants a place to chill, relax, and get their splash on with friends at a park. Definitely ready for this summer!

11 months agoIt was fun and big, but it was $20 to get in ( As of May 30th, 2024 ) so I could say you get your moneys worth if you come early. There were a bunch of life guards so you don’t have to worry about anyone drowning unless your in the lazy river and your in the gap areas where there are no life guards in view or under the tunnels. The men’s bathroom was clean and nice 👍🏽. But bring extra cash because no outside food or drinks are allowed and rental shades do cost $50/$75. There was no line to get in, also there wasn’t a long wait time to get on the slides like there usually is at a big water park. So overall 5 stars.
