  • Be prepared for a strong chlorine smell near the fountains.
  • Plan your visit within the operating season: Earth Day through Balloon Fiesta only.
  • Bring appropriate footwear (e.g., water shoes or sandals) to protect feet from potentially hot concrete, as the area lacks shade.
  • Utilize the private restrooms for changing children to ensure privacy and public comfort, as public nudity has been observed.
  • Arrive early or during non-peak times to potentially avoid 'overly crowded' conditions and improve comfort.

Things to Consider

Open Earth Day thru Balloon Fiesta only. On grand opening day (09/01/23) the fountains spired continuously, but thereafter it was on-a-minute, off, then on-again (toddlers seem to find 'on-again' just thrilling) – at maybe ½ to ⅔ the height the fountains were run on day one (when my 3 pics were taken). —My guess is, this was for water conservation and accommodation of the average toddler-size of the Splash Pad's most ardent users. —A fun & refreshing spot for all ages though, encircled by brick bench seating. Be forewarned, the fountains are very chlorinated to the point you can smell it when close by.

Really fun awesome place do not leave your kids unattended…. random creepy predators come and watch and have made me and my children uncomfortable yes they have starred at us because they’re waiting for -> I’ve seen a lady take her children’s clothes off in the middle of the park when there are Private restrooms. (At least cover the child with a towel when changing them) once I saw another babies privates I had to cover my husbands eyes it was so awkward, I don’t feel comfortable coming back here I will still leave my 5 star rating because this is wonderful park for kids and families trying to cool down. Other parents should be responsible enough to protect their kids but be fairly warned this disgusting behavior has been regular and noted all through the summer of 2024. Please protect your children.

The location was through a parking lot behind a community center. Once we parked right next to the splash pad, we were a little disappointed because it was a bit small. Once our kids began to get wet, the size didn't seem to matter anymore. What made it even better was the cool playground near by. There was also a large covered sitting area with picnic tables, a skate park, restrooms, and a few other things being added to the surrounding area.
